These two really do seem like the purrfect match. Cleo needed someone willing to stop, help her, and give her the safe home she deserved, and these humans clearly weren't about to leave a kitty in need behind. She may not have been part of their plans that day, but that's usually how the Cat Distribution System does its best work. Sometimes the right cat and the right humans just happen to cross paths at exactly the right time, and this pairing couldn't have worked out better.

We're choosing to believe Cleo's kittens disappearing means someone else spotted the tiny fluffballs and scooped them up for their own happily ever after. Maybe they're all curled up in cozy beds right now, getting spoiled by their new pawrents and wondering what this whole "stray cat" thing was ever about. We may never know exactly where they ended up, but we're keeping our paws crossed that each little kitten found a safe and loving furever home of their own.

Cleo's coloring makes her look like one big fluffy toasted marshmallow. She's got the creamy fur, the perfectly toasted brown patches, and even a few spots that look like they got a little extra time over the fire. It's making us want to reach through the screen and squish those fluffy cheeks immediately. We're not sure a cat is supposed to make us hungry, but here we are craving s'mores after looking at her. At least this marshmallow comes with whiskers!
